Today, it spans the globe, nurturing over 20 million believers with a deep commitment to spiritual formation, service and education.

At its helm is the Patriarch of Alexandria, Pope of the Holy See of St Mark - a spiritual leader who continues the apostolic legacy of guiding the Church with wisdom, humility and devotion.

In Australia, the Coptic Orthodox Church is a growing and dynamic presence. With more than 50 parishes, two monasteries, two theological colleges and five independent schools, the Church offers families a rich tapestry of worship, learning and community life.
